Old Main Building Commemorative Plate

This collection includes a porcelain plate made in Germany with the inscription "Wheelock - Made in Germany for M. H. James, Bryan, TX - Dresden". The plate contains an image of the original Old Main Building that was destroyed by fire in 1912.

This collection consists of Texas A&M College's yell books from 1904 to 1932.

These yell books from A&M College's early history was the start of the school's tradition of having yell leaders, who led yells at football games. Some books feature yells that are no longer in use, and older versions of A&M yells used today.

The books were created in Bryan-College Station, Texas for the sole purpose of being used by A&M College students at football games. Their layout and designs changed throughout the decades along with the advertisements from local establishments.

Most of this collection was owned by former students, so you may see names, doodles, and in some cases homemade yells.

Goeth Family Letters

This collection contains letters dated between 1897-1923, primarily between brothers Max Goeth and Conrad Goeth (C. A.). The brothers opened two businesses together, La Salle Truck Farm, and Cotulla Farming and Irrigation Company. The second business was a contracting company for farm land. The two brothers leased land and sold crops, and it is inferred that Max and Conrad had two other brothers named Richard and Eddie, and that their father was Chas. Goeth (C. G.).

Lawrence Sullivan Ross Correspondence

This collection contains 54 handwritten letters and documents addressed to Lawrence Sullivan Ross during his time as Governor of Texas [1887-1891], and from his time of President of Texas A&M College [1891-1898]. Also included are two Texas A&M College memorial service program for Lawrence Sullivan Ross [January 15-16, 1898].
