Cushing Memorial Library & Archives houses rare books, special collections, manuscripts, and the Texas A&M University Archives. The historic Reading Room is open to all for research and studying.

Established in 1950, the University Archives preserves and provides access to documents and artifacts that illuminate the history of Texas A&M University and have administrative, fiscal, legal, or historical value.

The Archives welcomes transfers and donations.
