This collection consists of manuscripts and literary materials from Mexican-Canadian fantasy and horror novelist, editor, and short-story writer Silvia Moreno-Garcia. Materials include versions and drafts (in paper and digital form) of her novels Signal to Noise (2015), Certain Dark Things (2016), and The Beautiful Ones (2017), among others.

This collection consists of the Star Trek fanfiction of writer Cat Ramos. Ramos writes primarily stories about the culture and society of the Klingon Empire, with her own particular noncanonical spin on the Trek universe. The majority of the collection consists of stories from her Citizen of the Empire cycle of stories.

Also included are early examples of Cooper's writing, as collected in her writing portfolios from her creative writing classes at Lower Columbia College (Longview, WA).

The collection also includes a number of program books and other materials from numerous science fiction conventions that Cooper attended or was a guest at, as well as miscellaneous other materials.

This collection consists of decades worth of science fiction and fantasy fanzines, collected by Canadian fanzine writer and editor Mike Hall, and by book collector and author Chester Cuthbert. Chronologically, the fanzines date from some of the earliest years of organized SciFi fandom through the 21st century.

This collection consists of a photocopy of the manuscript for Wilson's 1988 novel Memory Wire.

This collection consists of the typescript for Bunch's short story, "Moment of Truth in Suburb Junction", which was published in Fantastic, in September 1973. The 10-page typescript has handwritten edits and includes a note from Fantastic editor Ted White and a one-leaf blurb.

The collection consists of the program books, documents, correspondence, and miscellaneous items collected by the Cepheid Variable Science Fiction Club from its inception in 1969 through 2005. The collection was assembled from deposits of the club, gifts from Bill Page, and other occasional donors.

This collection consists of a number of so-called "official" J.R.R. Tolkien Calendars, published between 1973-1994 by Ballantine Books and subsequently by HarperCollins Publishers. The calendars are noted for their colorful and lush art, as well as for the dating within of important events in the history of Middle-earth.

Artists whose work is featured in the calendars include: J.R.R. Tolkien, The Brothers Hildebrandt, Darrell K. Sweet, Michael Hague, Ted Naismith, John Howe,and Alan Lee, among others.

Calendars from early in the run (which is incomplete) contain handwritten notes and reminders by the donor.

This collection consists of various materials related to American fantasy author Lloyd Alexander, including a few pieces of correspondence, a number of Christmas cards illustrated and signed by Alexander, informational brochures, invitations, and miscellaneous items.

This collection consists of manuscripts for several works by Effinger, including the copyedited manuscript for Effinger's 1987 novel When Gravity Falls, the edited manuscript for the novella "The Exile Kiss (Preview)" (1990), and the bound manuscript for his 1981 novel The Wolves of Memory.

Also included is the manuscript for the 1973 story "Dem Bones", which Effinger published under the name "John K. Diomede."

The collection spans Bill Crider's entire career. A near-complete run of manuscripts traces his writing career, supplemented by a correspondence file, miscellaneous material, and books and magazines. A long run of "DAPA-EM," the organ of a mystery writer's amateur press association completes the collection.

This collection details some of Heinlein's interactions with Shasta Publishers and with Playboy Enterprises.

The Shasta Publishers' correspondence, primarily from 1945-1958, provides insights to the dealings of Heinlein with an early specialty publisher of science fiction, and to one of the first science-fiction specialty publishers. The Playboy correspondence covers some contractual issues and providing insight on the methodology of creating a "Playboy Interview," including the "caboose," a two-page typescript addendum to the 1969 Playboy interview. The letters reference Heinlein's trip to Chicago, and to the Playboy panel in 1984.

This collection contains materials relating to the printing of John Brunner's 1980 novel The Infinitive of Go. Included is the setting copy of the text as approved by Brunner with edits along with a letter from Ballantine Books.

This collection contains materials relating to the creation, development, and printing of the series of Star Trek fanzines devoted to the Kraith Universe. The Kraith Universe was a shared Star Trek alternate universe created by Jacqueline Lichtenberg in 1970, and six collected volumes of Kraith stories were originally published between 1972-1980 by publisher/editor Carol Lynn and her associate Debbie Goldstein.

The series contains correspondence, copies of the Kraith fanzines themselves, and related materials such as story drafts. A large part of the collection consists of printing masters for the Kraith zines as well as a few other zines published by Lynn.

Also included are various materials from several science fiction conventions.

This collection consists of a number of different science fiction fanzines, most from the United States but a few from other countries.

Several of the publications, especially the early ones, are photocopies rather than originals.

This collection contains manuscripts, correspondence, books, magazines, and other material related to Lansdale's writing career, circa 1989-2003.

This collection consists of manuscripts for several of Stiner's short stories, as well as one for his 1990 short novel Slam.

This collection consists of typescripts of several of Binder's novels with most including the author's corrections and accompanying carbons, and a number of short stories with most corrected including carbons and in some cases tearsheets from the magazines in which the stories initially appeared, corrected and with continuation sheets for expansion into full-length books.

In addition, there are close to 300 business and personal letters, photographs, postcards, and other files including broadcasting projects, non-fiction articles, letters and critiques from literary agents and publishers, materials on Space World, and several folders of unfinished manuscripts. Unusual "picture cards" featuring text and photographs on postcards are included.

Excluding duplicate carbons, letters, etc., there are approximately 2,300 pages (mostly 11 x 8.5-inches) of typescript with a total of about 575,000 words. Many of Binder's letters are on letters received or on the backs of manuscript or script fragments.

This collection contains the original manuscript, with author's revisions, of Leiber's 1979 story "The Button Molder", and includes as well as a copy of the first hardbound appearance of the story: Whispers (October 1979), which is signed by Leiber, the work's artist, and the work's editor. "The Button Molder" won the British Fantasy Award for Best Short Fiction in 1980.

Also included, the manuscript, with edits, of Leiber's 1973 review of the anthology Hauntings, intended for the "Fantasy Books" section of the magazine Fantastic Stories of Imagination.

This collection contains a large collection of reference materials relating to science fiction and fantasy author Andre Norton, assembled by Norton researcher Joseph Goldin. Materials include book reviews (both of Norton's work and those written by Norton herself in her capacity as a librarian at the Cleveland Public Library), essays, interviews, and other articles. They are drawn from newspapers, fanzines, secondary reference works, and prozines, among others.

With one or two exceptions, all of the materials in the collection are photocopies of the originals.

A collection of comic books from the new series from Marvel Comics, Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel.

The first is written by Kelly Sue DeConnick and details the adventures of superhero Carol Danvers, the former Ms. Marvel who in 2013 assumed the name, Captain Marvel. The second series is written by G. Willow Wilson and explores the story of young Kamala Khan, a Muslim American girl who acquires superpowers and adopts the name Ms. Marvel out of tribute to Danvers. Ms. Marvel, as a Pakistani-American, is the first Muslim superhero in an American comic book to have her own title.

The collection includes issues from the post-Secret Warscycle of stories concerning the two heroines.

Artists vary between individual issues of both series.

This collection contains materials from the literary and musical (both traditional and filksong) career of Dr. Ada Palmer. Materials include manuscripts from Palmer's science fiction and fantasy novels (published and unpublished), as well as papers, graphics, and other files relating to Palmer's singing activities, most notably as the director of the noted filksong group Sassafras.

A significant portion of the collection includes materials such as con badges, program books, etc., from a number of science fiction and anime conventions at which Palmer has been an attendee, a panelist, a guest performer, and/or an administrator (i.e, Cosplay Coordinator at Anime Boston).

This collection consists of much of the nonfiction output of science fiction and historical novelist Marley, including articles and addresses on writing and the writing process, on music, on science fiction, and on karate. Also included are manuscript materials from some of Marley's later work.

Also included is a compact disc from Marley's folk music trio Earthwood, entitled Wasn't That A Time?.

The Arkham House Collection consists of correspondence from August Derleth to Howard Wandrei. Derleth, a writer, founded Arkham House to publish and keep in print the work of Howard Phillips Lovecraft, a friend and fellow writer. Lovecraft died in 1937; for the next two years Derleth tried unsuccessfully to find a publisher for Lovecraft's writings. Using money from prepaid orders and the personal investment of Donald Wandrei (brother of Howard Wandrei), Derleth founded Arkham House in 1939. Arkham House published science fiction works by Lovecraft and other writers such as Algernon Blair, Clark Ashton Smith and Henry S. Whitehead.

In his letters to fellow science-fiction writer Howard Wandrei, August Derleth writes about his publishing efforts at Arkham House, his own writing career and the details of his personal life. His letters also mention other authors and publishing houses. The letters date from 1930-1953; most letters are accompanied by the original stamped envelopes.

This collection contains a 286-page unproofed typed copy of Foster's 1977 novel The End of the Matter.

The Sam Moskowitz collection consists of his research files, correspondence, manuscripts, many of his books, and working documents related to his study of the history of science fiction and fantasy.  Drafts of two unpublished books are included.

The Fern Marder & Carol Walske Fanzine Collection consists primarily of a large number of science fiction media fanzines (primarily fanfiction), mostly relating to Star Trek: The Original Series (TOS). Additional fanzines relate to other media, notably including Star Wars.

Also included in the collection are a large number of scripts (final versions and drafts) and storylines from various science fiction media, including episodes (several of them unproduced) of Star Trek (TOS); Star Wars (in its evolving incarnations); The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai; Blade Runner, and others. Some of this material consists of photocopies, while others are original production copies obtained by Marder or Walske at various intervals.

There are also some additional materials, including program books from various Star Trek conventions, as well as oversized materials that include issues of The Monster Times and foldout maps and blueprints from the Star Trek universe. The maps of the Trek universe are considered part of the Maps Of Imaginary Places Collection.

The majority of the contents in this collection consists of fan fiction. Fan fiction is the name given to literary or artistic productions created by fans about the characters, settings and events of the media universe in which they are interested. A small portion of the fanworks in the Marder and Walske Collection is identified as "slash” or as "het". "Slash" refers to fanworks that feature same-sex relationships and are sometimes (though not always) sexually explicit. In slash, sexual identity, sexuality and/or romance are often the centers of the story, rather than the conventional adventures featured in more traditional fanworks. "Het", like slash, refers to fanworks featuring sexual or romantic content, but with opposite-sex relationships.

Slash and het items are identified as such on the item folder. If an item is not identified as slash or het, it is to be assumed that the item is "gen" (containing no sexual or romantic content. Both slash and het items have been specifically identified because of their importance as highly visible fan fiction subcultures.

This collection contains the typed manuscript for Tucker's 1954 novel Wild Talent, as well as the original typescript and page proofs for Tucker's 1974 novel Ice and Iron.

This collection consists of correspondence to and from legendary author Frederick Pohl, mostly regarding editorial matters and other items of authorial business.

Most of the letters, dated from 1948-1952, are to or from Shasta Publishing founder Erle Melvin Korshak or editor Ted Dikty. There is also some correspondence between Pohl and Playboy Magazine dated between 1962-1978.
