The majority of the collection is made up of miscellaneous subject files, which follow Dr. Rosen's detailed research, colleagues, and projects. In addition to the subject files, four series of special subject files, denoting those of particular importance, have been created for subjects containing multiple files.

The collection also contains files on the publications of Dr. Rosen, in addition to a number of books either written or contributed to by Rosen. The Presentations and Audio-Visual Materials series archive the many lectures given by Dr. Rosen at Texas A&M University and around the world. Four of the cassettes in the Audio Visual Materials Series record interviews with survivors of suicide attempts from the Golden Gate Bridge. One film reel, Discussion with Dr. Carl Jung, is in a degraded condition and stored in the film vault.

As Dr. Rosen focused most of his work on Analytical or Jungian Psychology, the majority of his collection is dedicated to his research, publications, and lectures given on the subject.

The collection contains a wide variety of material related to Star Trek, including books, records, calendars and realia such as pins, playing cards, music boxes, pictures, magazines covering Star Trek, apparel, cups, and glasses, models, ornaments, and other collectibles.

Approximately 102 books have been integrated into the Science Fiction and Fantasy Research Collection. Each book added has a note "Sharon Faye Wilbur Star Trek Collection."

An additional series contains reference material relating to the author Andre Norton, with whom Wilbur was acquainted. Works by Norton that Wilbur owned have been integrated into the Science Fiction and Fantasy Research Collection.

This collection covers the (mostly public) life of Phyllis R. Frye, from time as a member of the Texas A&M University (TAMU) Corps of Cadets as Phillip Frye, an undergraduate, through her transition to Phyllis in the 1970s in Houston, Texas, her activism through the 2010s, and her career.

The scope of the collection goes back as early as the 1940s, with the bulk of its contents from the 1970s on. Most of the collection is from Frye’s public life, thus it is Texas-based; however, because of Frye’s national prominence, it also includes national context on the movement for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, (and especially) Transgender rights.

The Texas A&M University Zine Collection is a generalized "floating" collection of zines tied to a set of particular collecting criteria:

• Zines created by Texans, Southwesterners or other Southerners and/or concern Texas, the Southwest and the South; zines created by minorities across Texas, the Southwest or the South; zines created by TAMU students or former students; and Artzines concerned with printing and/or designed as print art objects.

The collection has "Texas A&M University" in the title to reflect the collecting criterion of zines created by A&M students or former students. More importantly, however, the inclusion of the A&M name in the collection title reinforces the collection's connection to the university as well as its major purpose, to help make TAMU a center for the preservation of regional alternative voices.

This collection contains materials relating to the creation and writing of the Rat Patrol fanfic The Last Ride Raid, written in 1997 by L.C. Wells and Kathy Agel.

The collection, which contains copies of correspondence between Wells, Agel and their onetime collaborator Nora Myers; photocopied background research materials, photographs of sites ultimately not used for the story, and illustrations, provides a compact group of materials that document the creation and production of a work of fanfiction. A copy of the final product The Last Ride Raid is also included.

Also included is a CD containing PDFs of the correspondence and the fanzine, as well as an introductory letter from Wells to researchers and readers explaining the process of creating the fanzine.

This collection consists of materials from fan, fanzine writer, and vidder 'Morgan Logan', primarily relating to her main fandom of _Starsky & Hutch._Materials include fanzines, DVDs of fanvids, CDs containing _Starsky & Hutch_images, examples of fan art, and additional fannish materials.

The collection also contains a number of objects and ephemera, including several _Star Trek_action figures from 1974 and a set of action figures from Stargate: Atlantis.

Much of the content of this collection consists of fan fiction. Fan fiction is the name given to literary or artistic productions created by fans about the characters, settings and events of the media universe in which they are interested.  Almost all of the fanfic in the Logan Collection is identified as "slash”. "Slash" refers to fanworks that feature same-sex relationships and are sometimes (though not always) sexually explicit. In slash, sexual identity, sexuality and/or romance are often the centers of the story, rather than the conventional adventures featured in more traditional fanworks (referred to as "gen"). All items are to be considered "slash" unless otherwise noted.

This collection consists of materials relating to the production and performance of The Intergalactic Nemesis (originally created 1996) and its sequels. The Nemesis adventures, created by Austin, TX-native Jason Neulander, are billed as "live-action graphic novels," combining the visual medium of comic books with elements of radio play and traditional stage performance. During the stage show, panels from the comic series are projected on a large screen, while three actors perform the voices for all the characters, a Foley artist performs the sound effects (as in traditional radio shows), and a pianist performs the soundtrack.

The collection includes various drafts of the Nemesis spinoff novel Blood Sacrifice, by Neulander, along with various publicity materials relating to performances of Nemesis and its sequels; posters; copies of the published Nemesis graphic novels, comic books, CDs and DVDs, and digital recordings of broadcasts and rehearsals.

This collection contains notebooks given to COSGA student committee leaders, staff, and delegates. Also included is an event mailer for the 2008 program.

The Dr. Yolanda Broyles- González & Francisco González Archive is a rich borderland Mexican-American collection with a focus on performance arts, theater, and music.  Dr. Broyles-González studied and lived in Germany for twelve years, in Berlin, Freiburg, and Hamburg. She published the first translations of Chicano literature into German and she was instrumental in bringing Chicano/a literature and history to European readerships and consciousness. 

This collection contains log books that Jennings made notes from meetings, proposal information, and other notes during his time as the Sea Grant Program Director (1978-1985, 1993-1995), and as the Executive Director of the Office of University Research (1982-1993).

Theron A. Appollonio served in the US Navy during World War I and worked in the oil expoloration in Texas and Wyoming. This archive contains photos, postcards, and letters written to his mother in Boston, Massachusetts about his career in oil, primarily the Mexia Oil Fields working for Humphreys Oil Company. Some of the postcards are of El Paso and Camp Pershing.

This collection contains a "complete manuscript copy, written in a ruled notebook in black ink with occasional corrections in red, a few additional pencil notes... a few additional sheets with re-drafting in ink or pencil loosely inserted... Written by a cousin of H. Rider Haggard, this unpublished novella presents the fantasies of a child ill in bed in the form of six dreams." - bookseller's description.

This archive documents Lt. Bewman's time in the American Ambulance Service during World War I (WWI).

This archive includes a large amount of war dated letters and documents, a scrapbook with war clippings, and other war-related items kept by either Lt. Bewman Gates Dawes or a member of his family, and an mss diary in both ink and pencil covering January 8 - July 10, 1918. This 4x6 in. diary in dark cloth boards is printed in France with heading in French...[Dawes] was an engineer in France at least as early as 1916 and joined the American Ambulance service in 1917, then a supply company in the French Army and later the 17th Engineers Co. with the American Expeditionary Forces in France, and it appears from his diary that his company was in charge of a major port and the distribution of the supplies that arrived to the front.....These letters give very detailed accounts of life in port and while in Paris...Most of the letters are from 1917...The scrapbook has a large chromolithograph on the cover of 'American Ambulance Service' in action with pasted title below reading 'B.G. Dawes Jr./May 1917-1919'. It is packed with newspaper clippings, many of which must have come from Marietta papers and deal directly with Dawes and other local boys serving in France. It also has several telegrams from the war, pamphlets, 'American Ambulance Service' document, a photograph of Dawes, his last will and testament, and much more. Series of autograph letters and cards, by No. 8865 Lance Corporal Gordon Clippingdale ('Clip') of the 5th Battalion, City of London Rifles, to his wife Bridget of 141 Willesden Lane, London NW, comprising over 50 autograph letters, postcards and pre-printed sickness forms, the first fourteen written when in training and travelling out to Belgium, the remainder either from the front or while convalescing in hospital in Rouen, giving a graphic account of life in the trenches in the first few months of the war: "The country is absolutely laid waste & yet a fair number of the inhabitants remain, though there is scarcely a whole window left in the village. The place rocks continuously from the explosion of our guns firing but we sleep calmly through it all, being quite used to it by now. The mud is even worse than the frost, being liquid & well up to the knee, our putties & boots being nearly rotted to pieces" (30 November 1914); the series containing some outspoken observations that seem to have escaped the censor's eye: "It makes me wild to see in the papers, so many thousand witnesses to Football match between so & so. Bah. And over here, its work day & night week in week out, ruined churches & villages, fields ploughed by shells, harvests trampled in, homeless people & killing going on day by day. Created in 1991, this African American organization has as its mission to serve as a vehicle through which African Americans are fully recognized as contributing members of Texas A&M University, its local system components, and the community-at-large.

The African American Professional Organization's goals are to:

• Provide assistance and support to Texas A&M African American students, faculty, staff, and citizens in the community.
• Assist and advise Texas A&M on issues related to the enhancement of African American faculty, administrators, staff and students, and community citizens.
• Develop a political initiative to monitor, interact, or intervene with legislative bodies at local, state, and national levels relative to African American issues and concerns.
• Work with the myriad of African American and other organizations who aspire to "speak to" and "speak for" African American people on African American issues at Texas A&M and the Bryan-College Station community.

This collection covers A&M Gay Student Services (GSS), Gayline, GSS Roommate Locator Service, and campus attitudes toward homosexuality and the LGBT community at the university before and after A&M officially recognized GSS as a campus organization.

Some material dates back to 1976, while other documents go as late as 1990. The bulk of the contents are from 1983-1986, being the period when the GSS lawsuit for recognition was ongoing to when litigation ended in July 1985, giving GSS official recognition. Media coverage over the issue of gay and lesbian students at A&M heated up in the fall of 1984 as GSS awaited a new court ruling. Most of the collection is local, given its subject, but also included are regional LGBT news and national entertainment news regarding LGBT persons.

This collection consist of notes, correspondence, memorandums, emails, agenda's and minutes from PACAP meetings from 1996 to 2010.

This collection covers the GLBT community at Texas A&M University (TAMU), Brazos Valley, Texas, and US, from 1972 to 1990 (and one item from 2000).  This time period includes the Gay Student Services’ (GSS) 1976 lawsuit to be recognized by TAMU and the subsequent litigation that ended in 1985 with GSS gaining official campus recognition.  Local GLBT publications from the Brazos Valley from before and after GSS’ recognition are included.  The National March for Gay/Lesbian Rights in Washington, D.C. in October 1979 is covered in this collection at the state and national levels.  The collection also includes news coverage of the gay rights movement from around Texas and the US.

This collection contains eighteen letters from Duward to his parents dating from February to November 1953 during his time at Texas A&M College.

This collection contains photographs taken by members of the 166th Signal Corps as well as the Associated Press just after the liberation of the concentration camps from the Nazis in 1945.

"A harrowing array of images, including 26 silver gelatin prints, each approx. 8" x 9 3/4", all stamped on verso with detailed captions and other information (some stamped "confidential"), as well as 30 smaller scale photographs (image sizes approx. 3 1/2" x 4 1/2") printed on larger paper stock (6 3/4" x 5") with type-written captions under the image, almost all of the images documenting Nazi horrors perpetrated in several concentration camps, as well as an envelope in which a member of the signal corps sent some of the images home to the USA. Germany 1945. Taken by photographers accompanying the troops that liberated the camps, these images provide detailed and unflinching documentation of the extreme horrors endured in Buchenwald, Ohrdruf, Hergenhein, and Schwartenxenfield and other camps. There are many images of dead bodies in various states, both individual and in masses, barely living survivors, mutilations, images of the structure of the camps themselves, civilians being forced to transport and bury the dead, and, for some reason particularly horrifically, a photo of a decorative tattoo that was skinned off a body and used as a decoration on the wall [of] the Nazi SS quarters at Buchenwald. An envelope from S/Sgt V. Amoroso to Mrs. Amoroso, which apparently contained the smaller images, is also present."

This collection documents the activities of the first gubernatioral term of William P. Clements, Jr., 1979-1983.  Materials are texual and largely consist of correspondence, memoranda, speeches, clippings, agendas, plublications, reports, committee testimony, and press releases.

This collection consists chiefly of correspondence regarding the Runge family of Galveston, Tex. and Menard, Tex., including Henry Runge, his sons Henry J. Runge and Louis Hermann Runge, their cousin Julius F. Runge, as well as family members in Hannover, Germany, including heirs Hans Eyl and his wife Meta Eyl; German immigrant and Texas businessman Walter Tips (1841-1911) who, after the death of Henry Runge, had formed the Las Moras Ranch Company (December 21, 1879) with his wife's aunt Julia Runge, wife of Henry Runge, and Runge's sons Henry J. Runge, and Louis H. Runge; German Emigration Company lands, lawyers and law firms in Austin, Tex. and San Antonio, Tex., including C. A. Goeth, the firm of Webb & Goeth, Adolph Goeth, the business partner of Walter Tips and brother of C. A. Goeth.

Also present are: legal documents, including deeds, wills, powers of attorney, some ranch operations records, including ranch inventories, accounting ledgers, and handwritten notes. These papers record the operations and transfers of ownership of over 130,000 acres of property, principally in the Texas counties of Comal, San Saba, Tom Green, Concho, and Menard, collectively known as the Las Moras Ranch.

Beyond the acquisition, operation, and ultimate liquidation of this ranch property, however, an interesting part of Texas history, that of the Adelsverien or German Emigration Company, and early German immigrant settlement are illuminated through the documents in the collection.

The collection series reflect the history of the ranch from its foundation until its sale in 1913.

• Series 1 begins with an 1867 legal document showing a transfer of ownership of many thousands of acres of land from Hermann Arnold Henry (Heinrich) Runge (1821-1861) of Funchal, Madiera, Portugal to his brother and business partner, Henry Runge (1816-1873). Henry Runge paid for the land in American Gold. Other documents in the papers include a very large judgment against the Adelsverien or German Emigration Company, a copy of the lengthy handwritten "Last Will of Henry Runge," probated April 2, 1873, and that of his wife, Julia, dated March 23, 1896.
• Subsequent documents in Series 2-Series 4 of the papers highlight the operation and eventual liquidation in 1913 of the Las Moras Ranch, including transcontinental communications between Germany and Texas among heirs to the Runge fortune. Several of these family letters scattered through the papers may be particularly difficult to translate since they are written in Kurrentschrift, a Gothic handwriting style.
• Playing important roles in the later transactions concerning the ranch properties were the sons of Henry Runge (1816-1873): Henry J. Runge (1859-1922), Louis Hermann Runge (1861-1936), and his nephew Julius F. Runge (1851-1906). Henry J. Runge and Julius F. Runge were financial advisors, while Louis Runge served as the ranch manager and lived on the Las Moras Ranch property. Walter E. Tips (1841-1911), another German immigrant, Texas Senator, and successful hardware merchandiser, who married into the Runge family, along with C. A. Goeth (b. 1869), a San Antonio attorney, were involved in the ranch operations and legal issues concerning the eventual dispersal of Las Moras Ranch property.

This collection consists of the research collection McQueen built and used to write Black Churches in Texas. A Guide to Historic Congregations (Texas A&M University Press, 2000).

The contents consist mainly of "Texas County Historical Black Church" information sheets, each listed as an "inventory" in the finding guide, accompanied by related church history materials including church worship service programs, also called orders of worship; church homecoming and anniversary publications; handwritten and typed letters mostly regarding church history; newspaper clippings about historic congregations and members; notes about the history and location of churches and contact persons in congregations; business cards for contacts; published church histories; photocopies from published books about related counties, cities, and congregations; Texas county maps; color slides, photographic prints and negatives of church cornerstones, existing church buildings, Texas Historical Markers, and congregation members.

Also present are photocopies of newspaper clippings covering African American religious issues and manuscript drafts for McQueen's book, many of which are heavily annotated by McQueen.

The inventories and related church history materials were amassed by data collection teams organized by McQueen and also collected by McQueen himself. Norris Braly, a member of the Burleson County Historical Committee, documented the first church history in February 1988. McQueen documented the last congregation on August 24, 1997.

Most of the church worship service programs are laser printed. However, there are a few earlier documents that are photocopies of mimeographed sheets, and a few that were professionally printed. When the word "typed" is used to describe a church history, it means that the history was not professionally printed.

Variant congregation names exist within the documents (for example, Macedonia First Baptist Church and Macedonia Baptist Church). For the purpose of this finding guide, we have chosen to use the form of the congregation name given in Black Churches in Texas. Files exist within the collection for congregations that do not appear in Black Churches in Texas because exact organization dates could not be determined at the time of publication. Conversely, not every church listed in McQueen's book has a folder in the collection (for example Colored Methodist Episcopal Church of Sweeny in Brazoria County).

McQueen used different versions of the inventory form to document the churches. Though the information requested is the same, the format may differ. McQueen also copyrighted many of his slides, and so most of them bear handwritten copyright information.

This collection chronicles Robert's writing of his Masters' Thesis, "A Biography of L. L. Foster (President of A&M, 1898-1901)".

Included are around 100 letters to and from Byrns to help further his research. The recipients of these letters are from all over Texas and cover a wide range of persons from the military to librarians. Also included are pictures of L. L. Foster's children.

This collection includes manuscripts discussing World War I (WWI) propaganda cartoons, an essay on war and physicians, and other essays written by students at Texas A&M College in 1919-1920.

This collection is the result of the family of Earl O. Hall seeking to determine the circumstances of his last mission (in February 1943), and the location of the action where the plane was shot down. The search took several years and resulted in the discovery of several incorrect versions of the events of that day. With the assistance of the Air Force Historical Unit at Maxwell Air Force Base, a good record of the actions of the 42nd Bombardment Squadron (Heavy) from December 1941 through February 1943 was assembled. The collection consists of family papers from the Hall family, records from the family of Joaquin Castro, Co-Pilot, correspondence to and from the Hall family, correspondence from individuals in the South Pacific, correspondence from the Army Air Force, and other related correspondence. Material from printed histories of the Seventh Air Force, the 13th Air Force, the 42nd Bombardment Squadron (Heavy), and other published material sheds light on the wartime history of the area, and conditions of the military bases in 1942.

This collection contains correspondence from the A&M College Bandmaster Richard J. Dunn. Other items in this collection include infantry music books dating from 1930-50s. The collection also contains original sheet music from the Fighting Texas Aggie Band and legal documents pertaining to Richard J. Dunn's song "Texas Aggie", "Spirit of Aggieland", "The Aggie War Hymn" and other Aggie Sheet music.

This collection contains clippings, news articles, and photographs of J. R. Cole, Sr., as well as the resources that he used to write his autobiography (included). Also included is correspondence from J. R. Cole, Jr. and correspondence between the archives and donors.

This collection contains transcripts, witness reports (photocopies included), and newspaper clippings regarding a fight that occurred between A&M and Baylor students at Cotton Palace in Waco on October 30, 1926.
