This collection consists of several pages of musical score material composed by Kristina A. Bishoff. The score comes from Bishoff's 2018 'Green Rider: The Original Book Soundtrack', which was inspired by the Green Rider fantasy series by Kristin Britain.

This collection contains manuscripts and manuscript material from noted science fiction author and historical novelist (under the name Jon Williams) Walter Jon Williams. Included are drafts in various stages of evolution for a number of Williams' novels and stories.

The collection contains small amounts of other materials relating to Williams' life and career, including correspondence.

This collections of materials documenting the life and literary career of Gwen Faith Hunter, who writes thrillers under the name of 'Gwen Hunter' and, under the name 'Faith Hunter', the Jane Yellowrock, Soulwood, and _Rogue Mage_urban fantasy series. Materials in the collection consists of manuscripts, notes, page proofs, correspondence, publicity materials, awards, and documentation relating to Hunter's childhood and early attempts at writing.

This collection consists of much of the nonfiction output of science fiction and historical novelist Marley, including articles and addresses on writing and the writing process, on music, on science fiction, and on karate. Also included are manuscript materials from some of Marley's later work.

Also included is a compact disc from Marley's folk music trio Earthwood, entitled Wasn't That A Time?.

This collection consists of materials created for the "Dream Gathering" festival held on November 2-3, 2018, at the Jesup Memorial Library in Bar Harbor, ME. The festival was created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the publication of the epic fantasy novel Green Rider by then-Maine resident Kristen Britain in 1998, as well as the release of the latest volume in her series, The Dream Gatherer.

The Dream Gathering featured a reading and book talk from Britain herself, presentations by Green Rider composer Kristina A. Bischoff and photographer Madeline Shayne, displays of fanmade artifacts, cosplay, a virtual tour of Britain's archives at Cushing Memorial Library & Archives, and general fannish socializing.

This collection consists of the materials and files collected by librarian and science fiction scholar/bibliographer Hal W. Hall, for the completion of a large textual analysis project (never finished) for the works of Western writer Louis L'Amour. Materials in the collection include copies of L'Amour's books (with markups by Hall), copies of L'Amour's short stories, and miscellaneous documentation used in researching L'Amour and his work.

This collection contains materials relating to the creation and writing of the Rat Patrol fanfic The Last Ride Raid, written in 1997 by L.C. Wells and Kathy Agel.

The collection, which contains copies of correspondence between Wells, Agel and their onetime collaborator Nora Myers; photocopied background research materials, photographs of sites ultimately not used for the story, and illustrations, provides a compact group of materials that document the creation and production of a work of fanfiction. A copy of the final product The Last Ride Raid is also included.

Also included is a CD containing PDFs of the correspondence and the fanzine, as well as an introductory letter from Wells to researchers and readers explaining the process of creating the fanzine.

This growing collection contains documents and artifacts from LGBTQ-related organizations at Texas A&M University and the Brazos Valley. The bulk of its contents are from the late 1980s to the present, but it goes back as far as the mid-1970s when Gay Student Services (GSS) began on the TAMU campus.  This period includes GSS’s court battle for official recognition on campus, the founding of Aggie Allies in the nineties, and activities of the TAMU GLBT Resource Center in all its iterations.  The papers contained within, deal with the various organizations’ origins, governing documents, and internal organizational planning.

This collection consists of a large number of fanworks from or (more often) collected by California-based fan and fanvidder Stacy L. Doyle. Materials include fanzines (the majority of which involves slash content), fanvids (also mostly slash-oriented) for multiple fandoms, audio cassettes of filksong, and materials relating to a number of genre conventions (including several that are slash-centered). Also included are some additional materials concerning vidding, fandom, and related subjects.

The majority of the contents in this collection consists of fan fiction. Fan fiction is the name given to literary or artistic productions created by fans about the characters, settings and events of the media universe in which they are interested. A substantial portion of the fanworks in the Doyle Collection is identified as "slash”. "Slash" refers to fanworks that feature same-sex relationships and are sometimes (though not always) sexually explicit. In slash, sexual identity, sexuality and/or romance are often the centers of the story, rather than the conventional adventures featured in more traditional fanworks.

A small portion of the collection consists of "het" material. "Het", like slash, refers to fanworks featuring sexual or romantic content, but with opposite-sex relationships.

"Gen" (more standard stories containing no sexual content) and het items are identified as such on the item folder. If an item is not identified as slash or het, it is to be assumed that the item is slash. (g) indicates gen material. (h) indicates het material.

Fanzines are organized alphabetically by fandom name, and thereunder by title. The term “Multimedia” refers to anthologies of material from different fandoms. The term “Crossover” refers to stories in which characters from one or more media universes interact with those from another. (For example, a story in which Mal Reynolds' ship Serenity passed through a wormhole and encountered Captain James T. Kirk's U.S.S. Enterprise would be a Firefly/Star Trek crossover.)

"Vidding" refers to the fannish activity of creating a music video (a 'fanvid') consisting of clips from various movies or TV shows set to particular pieces of music. Some vids utilize a single media universe, others involve multiple ones. The music that accompanies the clips is selected by the vidder in order to drive a particular narrative, or to make a point about the characters or story being shown. Often these points are subversive of the accepted canon (for example, a vidder might use judiciously selected clips to suggest that two or more characters have a romantic relationship, whereas in "real life" no such relationship is stated or implied).

This collection contains materials from science fiction D.L. (David) Young, relating to the creation and publication of his novel _Soledad,_a post-apocalyptic tale that is the first volume in Young's _Dark Republic_series.

Materials include notes, proofs, media material, final electronic versions of the novel, and production documentation. The materials in this collection are entirely digital, existing in several different software formats.

This collection consists of materials from various science fiction and fantasy conventions, assembled over the years by Russ Ault. Materials include program guides, program books, and pocket programs.

This collection consists of documents relating to the publication by the science fiction and fantasy small press Underwood-Miller, Inc., of a number of works by or relating to the noted science fiction author Philip K. Dick. The works Underwood-Miller published that are documented here include Dick's In Pursuit of VALIS: Selections from the Exegesis (1991), and the series The Selected Letters of Philip K. Dick.

Materials in the collection include correspondence, production documentation, galleys, typescripts, and photocopies of much of Dick's correspondence used in assembling the Selected Letters. Also included are a few media publications related to Dick and his work.

A collection of comic books from the new series from Marvel Comics, Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel.

The first is written by Kelly Sue DeConnick and details the adventures of superhero Carol Danvers, the former Ms. Marvel who in 2013 assumed the name, Captain Marvel. The second series is written by G. Willow Wilson and explores the story of young Kamala Khan, a Muslim American girl who acquires superpowers and adopts the name Ms. Marvel out of tribute to Danvers. Ms. Marvel, as a Pakistani-American, is the first Muslim superhero in an American comic book to have her own title.

The collection includes issues from the post-Secret Warscycle of stories concerning the two heroines.

The Lisa Tuttle Collection consists of books, manuscripts, galley proofs, and magazines tracing the storied career of science fiction, horror and fantasy writer Tuttle.  The collection is a work-in-progress, with additions from the author as they become available.

Created in 1991, this African American organization has as its mission to serve as a vehicle through which African Americans are fully recognized as contributing members of Texas A&M University, its local system components, and the community-at-large.

The African American Professional Organization's goals are to:

• Provide assistance and support to Texas A&M African American students, faculty, staff, and citizens in the community.
• Assist and advise Texas A&M on issues related to the enhancement of African American faculty, administrators, staff and students, and community citizens.
• Develop a political initiative to monitor, interact, or intervene with legislative bodies at local, state, and national levels relative to African American issues and concerns.
• Work with the myriad of African American and other organizations who aspire to "speak to" and "speak for" African American people on African American issues at Texas A&M and the Bryan-College Station community.

This collection consists of a large and varied amount of memorabilia, artifacts, and ephemera depicting or concerning the famous character Tarzan, first introduced by Edgar Rice Burroughs in the 1912 serialTarzan of the Apes. All items in the collection depict Tarzan, unless otherwise noted.

Materials include objects such as candy and gum, pocket knives, statues, action figures, mugs, metal signs, and other pieces of ephemera. Tarzan, an intensely popular character, was the first fictional character to be heavily merchandised. Because of this, and because Tarzan appeared in so many different forms of media, including films, television, comic books, and works of animation, it is no surprise that his image and name can be found on a dizzying variety of materials.

Tarzan is often regarded as one of the best-known literary characters in history. He was first introduced by creator Edgar Rice Burroughs in the serialized story "Tarzan of the Apes" (in the pulp All-Story in 1912, book form in 1914), and went on to star in 23 additional novels from Burroughs and published by A.C. McClurg between 1912-1966. Tarzan is a feral white child named John Clayton, marooned somewhere on the African coast with his parents, British aristocrats Lord and Lady Greystoke. The two die soon after their arrival in Africa, leaving young Clayton to be found and raised by a tribe of great apes (who give him the ape-name 'Tarzan').

Tarzan's upbringing brings him heightened strength, agility, speed, climbing ability, and stamina, all of which he uses to defend his loved ones and his beloved jungle from various threats. These include wild animals, rival tribes of apes, lost races that dwell in hidden cities, German troops, strange monsters, and other hazards. In addition to Burroughs' novels, Tarzan has also been featured in numerous unauthorized literary works, multiple films (most notably the franchise starring Johnny Weissmuller between 1932-1948), radio shows, comic books and comic strips, and television programs (particularly the 1966-1968 NBC series starring Ron Ely).

This collection consists of materials from science fiction author and futurist Cooper, including a number of manuscripts from her works. These include the novels Reading the Wind (2008), Wings of Creation (2009), The Diamond Deep (2013), and Wilders (2017), as well as a number of Cooper's short stories. Also included are early examples of Cooper's writing, as collected in her writing portfolios from her creative writing classes at Lower Columbia College (Longview, WA).

The collection also includes a number of program books and other materials from numerous science fiction conventions that Cooper attended or was a guest at, as well as miscellaneous other materials.

This collection contains materials from as far back as 1899, as recently as 2017, and continues to grow. The bulk of its contents are from the 1980s to 2017. This time period includes A&M’s Gay Student Services (GSS) lawsuit to gain official campus recognition (achieved in 1985), the founding of Aggie Allies (in the 1990s), debates over the language in A&M's nondiscrimination clause (multiple years), Hurricane Katrina (2005) when A&M hosted evacuees, the evolution of Coming Out Week and Gay (then LGBT) Awareness Week on campus, and the public controversy over university funding for the GLBT Resource Center.

This collection consists of issues from the comic book continuation of the television shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, both created and produced by Joss Whedon. Included are the issues for the final two story arcs of Buffy Season Eight, for the story arcs in Season Nine and Ten, and for the beginnings of Season Eleven. Season Nine and Season Ten are divided into two separate story strands, one following Buffy and her friends as they adapt to post-Sunnydale and post-Season Eight life in San Francisco, the other chronicling the ongoing adventures of the ensouled vampire Angel and Buffy's rival Slayer, Faith.

There are also issues of two mini-series that were published as part of Season Nine, which follow the adventures of the characters Spike and Willow, respectively. In addition, there are several issues of an additional Buffyverse comic mini-series from Dark Horse, this one exploring the development of the character Illyria (who figured in the television show Angel).

This collection contains media guides of Texas A&M Football seasons, including rosters, statistics, and player and coach profiles.

This collection covers the (mostly public) life of Phyllis R. Frye, from time as a member of the Texas A&M University (TAMU) Corps of Cadets as Phillip Frye, an undergraduate, through her transition to Phyllis in the 1970s in Houston, Texas, her activism through the 2010s, and her career.

The scope of the collection goes back as early as the 1940s, with the bulk of its contents from the 1970s on. Most of the collection is from Frye’s public life, thus it is Texas-based; however, because of Frye’s national prominence, it also includes national context on the movement for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, (and especially) Transgender rights.

This collection includes a T-shirt and a watch bracelet from the Aggies United event held on December 6, 2016.

This collection consists of 38 dismantled scrapbooks, one intact scrapbook, and a book that provides extravagant detail and insight into Don Kelly’s life. The contents of this collection cover a wide range from 1932-2016 including numerous and various materials such as photographs of his close ones and from places traveled, letters to and from Don, postcards, receipts and bills from restaurants and hotels, memorial cards and obituaries, brochures, pamphlets, and tickets from different attractions all over the world, and family members death certificates as well as the allocation of funds for his father. There is a series for every aspect of life; his childhood, family, friends, famous people he met and knew, places he has lived, his career and retirement, and international travel trips.

This collection contains notebooks given to COSGA student committee leaders, staff, and delegates. Also included is an event mailer for the 2008 program.

This collection consists of materials relating to the production and performance of The Intergalactic Nemesis (originally created 1996) and its sequels. The Nemesis adventures, created by Austin, TX-native Jason Neulander, are billed as "live-action graphic novels," combining the visual medium of comic books with elements of radio play and traditional stage performance. During the stage show, panels from the comic series are projected on a large screen, while three actors perform the voices for all the characters, a Foley artist performs the sound effects (as in traditional radio shows), and a pianist performs the soundtrack.

The collection includes various drafts of the Nemesis spinoff novel Blood Sacrifice, by Neulander, along with various publicity materials relating to performances of Nemesis and its sequels; posters; copies of the published Nemesis graphic novels, comic books, CDs and DVDs, and digital recordings of broadcasts and rehearsals.

This collection consists of the Star Trek fanfiction of writer Cat Ramos. Ramos writes primarily stories about the culture and society of the Klingon Empire, with her own particular noncanonical spin on the Trek universe. The majority of the collection consists of stories from her Citizen of the Empire cycle of stories.

This collection consists of various items from or relating to NecronomiCon Providence, a biennial convention and academic conference centered on the work of H.P. Lovecraft and on Weird Fiction more generally. It is always held in Providence, Rhode Island, Lovecraft's home, and generally held in late august, close to Lovecraft's birthday.
