3 scrapbooks, 2 with mottled brown covers and brown spines, and 1 with a dark brown cover and black spine. The first scrapbook is labeled "Athletics and Miscellaneous". It is full of newspaper articles, letters and items all relating to Kyle first, but the bulk also focuses on Texas A&M. The second scrapbook has no label, and is mostly correspondence. Much of it dates to later in Kyle's life and covers topics outside A&M, such as his ambassadorship to Guatemala and retirement. The third scrapbook details an early history of the Kyle family, and is filled with correspondence, unlabeled photographs, and newspaper articles.

1 scrapbook, measuring 41 cm. x 30 cm. Scrapbook pages with glue in a grid on each page. Black paper covers detached from spine. Label pasted to front cover bearing title handwritten in blue ink also annotated by hand in pencil with: "Donated to College Archives By Dean E. J. Kyle, May 30, 1957." Contains newspaper clippings.

"Dedication of Animal Husbandry Building as a Memorial to the Pioneer Live Stock Men of Texas" - 1936 - 1937

1 scrapbook, measuring 35 cm. x 26 cm. Mottled tan paper covers with black spine. Label pasted to front cover bearing title handwritten in blue ink also annotated by hand in pencil with: "Donated to College Archives by Dean E. J. Kyle. May 23, 1957." Label pasted on inside front cover bears typed dedication: "PRESS CLIPPINGS ON THE, DEDICATION OF THE, ANIMAL INDUSTRIES BUILDING, Compiled for, Dean E. J. Kyle, By the, Publicity Department." Dedication of the new Animal Industries Building ceremony held in Guion Hall 10 Dec. 1936. Contains journal and newspaper clippings, programs, offprints, and letters of congratulation to Kyle.

Scrapbooks - 1910s-1940s

Two scrapbooks commemorating Kyle's service as Dean of the School of Agriculture at Texas A & M College, and one commemorating the dedication of the new Animal Industries Building 10 Dec. 1936. Housed with E. J. Kyle Papers in custom boxes.

Photographs - Kyle Field

Collection includes Sugar Bowl trophy, 1940, with Kyle and his grandchildren; Kyle Field; 1905 baseball team, 1939 football squad. Most pictures are captioned.

Early Photos - Kyle Field

Collection includes 1907 or 1908 game at Kyle Field with Mr. and Mrs. Kyle in buggy, 1909 O.U. Game in Dallas, Corps greeting President Taft with Kyle in the background, first board fence around Kyle Field. Many photos are captioned.

Athletics Miscellaneous

Contains 1905 report urging Kyle to remain on Athletic Council, 1910 petition signed by student body urging Kyle to remain on Athletic Council, 1939 speech to team and coaches, and Kyle's final resignation as Chairman of Athletic Council. Includes resolution adopted by Athletic Committee of the Association of Former A and M Students praising his service on Athletic Council. Incoming correspondence praising Kyle upon his resignation.

Athletic Letters

Correspondence with those offering congratulations to Kyle upon his being elected Athletic Chairman, 1937; newspaper clipping on F. C. Bowen's history of Kyle Field; letter concerning Sugar Bowl, 1940; 1934 Kyle resignation from Athletic Council; correspondence with football players; handwritten speech given at Houston ISD stadium dedication; Kyle speech (1939) to football squad and coaches; copy of article from Battalion, 1926.

Letters from Aggies Concerning Building of Kyle Field

Incoming/outgoing correspondence pertaining to reading and publication of a history of athletics at A and M College. Also includes list of names of 1907 class members present at student body meeting for the purpose of naming a new athletic field.

Pamphlet paying tribute to A and M students who died in World War I. Lists names and biography beside picture of each man.
