The 17 manuscripts in folders 1-9 came to Cushing Library in a three-ring binder with the handwritten spine title "Moyroux family 16th-18th cs. I." The 44 manuscripts in folders 9- are from a binder titled "Moyroux II." The materials in folders 16-17 is from a binder titled "Le Texier 1/3," which had the following manuscript note on the inside cover: "The Le Texier documents are in 3 folders exactly as acquired. They should be numbered. The 20th C white slips/mini-folders likely date to the 1960s. The letters grouped in them should correspond to the first item and those immediately following. Modern extranea have been placed at the beginning of the first folder. Robert L. Dawson."
