Inventory Items 301-2131 & 301-2132

Memo to the file dated August 31, 1979 regarding deleting inventory item 301-9297 (two candlesticks) as they were the bases for a set of silver candelabra from the Will Hogg estate and adding that the candlesticks and candelabra will be cleaned and united and then reappraised and will be used in the Clements’ apartment while the Mansion is renovated and restored. The writer of the memo added a note stating that “This is a prime example of how little care was taken previously for items of value brought into the Mansion.”
