Material in folders 1-2 (and box 16, folders 25-28), came to Cushing Library in a three-ring binder with the handwritten spine title "Jean Orieux," with note on verso of front cover: "J. Orieux, novelist, writer, etc.-Ac. fr'se. Corresp. w/ Melchior-Bonnet. Left in order acquired-envelopes are separate if I wasn't sure of which letter it goes with." Material in folders
3-5 from a binder titled "Orieux Mamariee 1." Material in folders 6-8 from a binder titled "Orieux Mamariee 2."
