This collection contains manuscripts, monographs, newspaper clippings, photographs, and audio material related to the work of conservative radio talk show host and political writer, Dan Smoot. The material consists mainly of Smoot’s career in publishing the "Dan Smoot Report" and "Facts Forum" which ran from 1957 to 1971. Interesting items in the collection include two signed letters written by actor, John Wayne inviting Dan Smoot to visit him at his estate, materials related to Smoot’s time in the FBI including photographs on special operative combat training in the 1940s.

This collection contains materials that were originally housed in a 3-ring binder that served as a scrapbook for the Governors Chapter of the Texas Society Daughters of American Colonists. Materials include Chapter and Texas State yearbooks, newspaper clippings, correspondence, and photographs.

This collection includes the published proceedings for the Daughters of The American Revolution Texas Society's Annual State Conference.

This collection consists of yearbooks from the Daughters of The American Revolution (DAR) Texas Society's William Scott Chapter in Bryan, Texas. Each yearbook beginning with 1949-1950, covers the fall and following spring. From 1967 to 1977 the yearbooks covered a two-year period with some containing an Addenda yearbook. Within most of the yearbooks, handwritten notes can be found along with a news clipping or two, membership cards, and receipts for membership dues. On covers of many of the yearbooks. Bylaws from 1951 and 1981 are also included along with two yearbooks from the Robert Henry Chapter of Bryan, Texas.

This collection contains correspondence to Dave Mellor from the Lewis and Clark Heritage Foundation, an organization whose members are dedicated scholars of the Corps of Discovery's expedition to map the Louisiana Purchase. Other items also originating from that organization are copies of their member's only journal "We Proceeded On", foundation notes from meetings, and plans for the annual gathering of all the members (usually at a location pertinent to the Lewis and Clark expedition in some way), newsletters informing members of upcoming activities.

Aside from the material from the Heritage Foundation, there are also pamphlets from various tourist sites located on the trail; some are actual locations the Corps of Discovery passed by (Pompey's Pillar, the Lolo Trail, Fort Clatsop), whereas others are cities and towns located near these historic locations. Others are simply named for the explorers (Lewis and Clark Lake), and others relate to the Native Americans the Corps of Discovery encountered on their journey (Big Hole Battlefield, a site sacred to the Nez Perce). A number of magazine articles on the expedition are included, topics cover such as the environmental impact on some of the historic sites, Meriwether Lewis's death, Sacagawea's biography, and later, her gold dollar coin, Thomas Jefferson, both about his shrewdness in making the Louisiana Purchase and the controversy surrounding his relationship with his slave Sally Hemings, descendants of Lewis, Clark, and other members of the Corps of Discovery meeting together to travel the Expedition trail on the 200th Anniversary of the Expedition, and the plight of the Columbia River. Most of the remaining material is a re-hash of all of these topics, save for a couple of unique articles (including a biographical account of Sacagawea's son, Jean-Baptiste Charbonneau).

This collection consists of 1200 slides of Texas courthouses located throughout the state. This collection also contains newspaper clippings, personal notes, and issues of the periodical Texas County Progress (incomplete issues from 1984-1999 and incomplete issues from 2002-2003) on the subject of Texas courthouses. This collection also includes magazines and brochures about Texas courthouses; pictures and slides of Texas courthouses; calendars; and a video cassette.

This collection contains materials that were part of the work done by David Woodcock through the Center for Heritage Conservation as well as the Design Review Sub-Council (DRsc), which reports to the Council for Built Environment and is responsible for ensuring all construction and renovation on the Texas A&M Campus. The materials focus on DRsc review, the Campus Houses that A&M faculty lived in, the Riverside Campus, formerly the Bryan Air Base and the Annex, and historic Bryan and College Station.

The majority of the collection is made up of miscellaneous subject files, which follow Dr. Rosen's detailed research, colleagues, and projects. In addition to the subject files, four series of special subject files, denoting those of particular importance, have been created for subjects containing multiple files.

The collection also contains files on the publications of Dr. Rosen, in addition to a number of books either written or contributed to by Rosen. The Presentations and Audio-Visual Materials series archive the many lectures given by Dr. Rosen at Texas A&M University and around the world. Four of the cassettes in the Audio Visual Materials Series record interviews with survivors of suicide attempts from the Golden Gate Bridge. One film reel, Discussion with Dr. Carl Jung, is in a degraded condition and stored in the film vault.

As Dr. Rosen focused most of his work on Analytical or Jungian Psychology, the majority of his collection is dedicated to his research, publications, and lectures given on the subject.

This collection consists of the typescript for Bunch's short story, "Moment of Truth in Suburb Junction", which was published in Fantastic, in September 1973. The 10-page typescript has handwritten edits and includes a note from Fantastic editor Ted White and a one-leaf blurb.

This collection of reports was assembled by a staff member who worked in the department from 1949 to about 1974. Some reports were added after 1974, but that was not done as consistently as before. Thus, for the first twenty-four years, the collection should be at least virtually complete.

All of the reports are in good condition. The earliest ones were published as mimeograph copies while the later ones seem to be published as photo-offset copies.

This collection consists of three diaries written by an officer from the 13th Rajputs regiment during World War I from various locations.

A trio of diaries written during the Great War in various locations by an officer from the 13th Rajputs regiment. Although the entries do not allow us to go as far as deducing the identity of the author (or his precise rank), they do provide some insight into the conditions and challenges faced as the War spread to remote territories: the first diary is written from Uganda, whilst the second begins dramatically with the fall of Kut-al-Amara and capture by the Ottoman forces with a 2-page, unpublished poem "A Prisoner of War in Yozgad (Asia Minor)", followed by a short, incomplete and entirely bleak piece of prose entitled "Regret" at the rear; the third returns him to Europe, the hand a little less sure and frequent reference to his own poor health, with a broad overview of events both personal and public around the continent - the Paris Peace Conference, the deaths and marriages of his close friends (including his attendance at the wedding of Cynthia Hamilton and Lord Althorp).

The writing is frequently amusing, and there is more complaining about food and living conditions than there is description of fighting; itself an elucidative encapsulation of the day-to-day experience of war.

This collection consists of manuscripts (in various drafts) from fantasy author Django Wexler. Included are drafts from works in Wexler's _Forbidden Library_and _Shadow Campaigns_series, as well as promotional materials such as bookmarks, shirts, posters, and stuffed animals.

This collection was part of a gift given to the library by the Anthropology Department.  The collection documents the work and writings of Professor Dolores Richter. The collection includes photographs, negatives, writings, and news clippings related to Prof. Richter’s research in the Ivory Coast, West Africa, and Oceania and the publication of her book “Arts, Economics and Change: the Kulebele of Northern Ivory Coast” published in 1980.

This collection consists of 38 dismantled scrapbooks, one intact scrapbook, and a book that provides extravagant detail and insight into Don Kelly’s life. The contents of this collection cover a wide range from 1932-2016 including numerous and various materials such as photographs of his close ones and from places traveled, letters to and from Don, postcards, receipts and bills from restaurants and hotels, memorial cards and obituaries, brochures, pamphlets, and tickets from different attractions all over the world, and family members death certificates as well as the allocation of funds for his father. There is a series for every aspect of life; his childhood, family, friends, famous people he met and knew, places he has lived, his career and retirement, and international travel trips.

This collection consists of volumes of correspondence (bulk 2005-2014), video and audiotapes of Dr. Fortune's classical music performances, writings, business ventures, and research material for her published books.

This collection contains eighteen letters from Duward to his parents dating from February to November 1953 during his time at Texas A&M College.

This collection consists of personal correspondence, manuscripts by Long and others, articles, booklets, essays, clippings, photocopies, research notes, maps, brochures, and photographs. The papers reflect Long's successful career as a Civil War historian and are in very good condition for the most part.

While most of the materials in this collection are dated in the twentieth century, there are several original Civil War documents of the nineteenth century. Of further interest are the drafts of Allan Nevins's Ordeal of the Union, which were edited by E. B. Long, and the nine long index boxes of Long's research notes on the Civil War.

The papers have been divided into the following categories: personal correspondence, manuscripts by Long, manuscripts by others, general files covering a wide range of subjects, drafts of Allan Nevins' Ordeal of the Union, research notes on the Civil War, index card files of articles, and miscellaneous volumes of clippings. The correspondence is arranged both chronologically for general correspondence and alphabetically for correspondence with specific individuals, resulting in some overlapping of dates. Correspondents include Bruce Catton, the Civil War Round Table, Doubleday and Company, Allan Nevins, Lowell Reedinbaugh, and John Y. Simon. Other materials in the collection are arranged either chronologically or alphabetically depending on the nature of the information.

This collection contains letters, magazine and newspaper articles, magazines, prints, and other materials documenting the work of artist Edward Muegge "Buck" Schiwetz, as both a commercial and fine artist.

His sketches and watercolors are featured in a vast majority of the print material in the collection, from Christmas cards to sketchbooks to fine prints.

Rather than focusing on Schiwetz's life and his time at Texas A&M, the collection pays most attention to his art career and people's opinion of Schiwetz as an artist in the traditional sense of the definition.

This collection consists of two typescripts from the acclaimed science fiction author Edward Bryant (1945-2017). The materials include a photocopied typescript of Bryant's 1984 story "Dancing Chickens", with edits; and the first four chapters of an unpublished novel by Bryant, No Limits. The chapters also contain handwritten edits from Bryant.
