This collection consists of various materials related to American fantasy author Lloyd Alexander, including a few pieces of correspondence, a number of Christmas cards illustrated and signed by Alexander, informational brochures, invitations, and miscellaneous items.

This collection contains the original manuscript, with author's revisions, of Leiber's 1979 story "The Button Molder", and includes as well as a copy of the first hardbound appearance of the story: Whispers (October 1979), which is signed by Leiber, the work's artist, and the work's editor. This collection consists of a number of so-called "official" J.R.R. Tolkien Calendars, published between 1973-1994 by Ballantine Books and subsequently by HarperCollins Publishers. The calendars are noted for their colorful and lush art, as well as for the dating within of important events in the history of Middle-earth.

Artists whose work is featured in the calendars include: J.R.R. Tolkien, The Brothers Hildebrandt, Darrell K. Sweet, Michael Hague, Ted Naismith, John Howe,and Alan Lee, among others.

Calendars from early in the run (which is incomplete) contain handwritten notes and reminders by the donor.

This is a small collection of correspondence, art, and a manuscript fragment by "Stewart", from Siros. The correspondence consists mostly of convention-related business and other topics and contains letters to Siros from, among others, Philip Jose Farmer, Jack Williamson, and John Clute.

This collection consists of the uncorrected proofs (44 sheets) for McKay's 1976 novel Skean.

This collection consists of materials from fan, fanzine writer, and vidder 'Morgan Logan', primarily relating to her main fandom of _Starsky & Hutch._Materials include fanzines, DVDs of fanvids, CDs containing _Starsky & Hutch_images, examples of fan art, and additional fannish materials.

The collection also contains a number of objects and ephemera, including several _Star Trek_action figures from 1974 and a set of action figures from Stargate: Atlantis.

Much of the content of this collection consists of fan fiction. Fan fiction is the name given to literary or artistic productions created by fans about the characters, settings and events of the media universe in which they are interested.  Almost all of the fanfic in the Logan Collection is identified as "slash”. "Slash" refers to fanworks that feature same-sex relationships and are sometimes (though not always) sexually explicit. In slash, sexual identity, sexuality and/or romance are often the centers of the story, rather than the conventional adventures featured in more traditional fanworks (referred to as "gen"). All items are to be considered "slash" unless otherwise noted.

The Burgess Collection consists of the first draft of the unpublished novel Puma, written in 1976 as a film treatment that was never made into a film. The novel is accompanied by a letter of explanation from Brian Kirby to Jim O'Roark, February 7, 1979.

Portions of the novel, which was pitched as an update of the classic film When Worlds Collide and which would have told the story of a planet [named "Puma"] hurtling towards Earth, was later adapted by Burgess into his 1982 novel The End of the World News.

The majority of the contents in this collection consist of fanfiction. Fanfiction is the name given to literary or artistic productions created by fans about the characters, settings, and events of the media universe in which they are interested. A substantial portion of the fanworks in the Crawford Collection is identified as "slash”. "Slash" refers to fanworks that feature same-sex relationships and are sometimes (though not always) sexually explicit. In slash, sexual identity, sexuality, and/or romance are often the centers of the story, rather than the conventional adventures featured in more traditional fanworks.

Slash and het (that is, items dealing with opposite-sex relationships) items are identified as such on the item folder. If an item is not identified as slash or het, it is to be assumed that the item is “gen” (containing no sexual or romantic content). Both slash and het items have been specifically identified because of their importance as highly visible fan fiction subcultures, (s) indicates slash material, (h) indicates het material, (g) indicates gen material.

This collection consists of materials from the lives and careers of Canadian science fiction and fantasy writers Alyx (A.M.) Dellamonica and Kelly Robson.

Materials include manuscripts, story notes and proofs for their published work as well as for unpublished 'trunk' stories and novels; correspondence, diaries, and various other items relating to their lives and their literary work.

Some of the materials are born digital and not, therefore, physically housed with the rest of the collection.

This collection was originally assembled by Martha Millard, the literary agent of noted science fiction author William Gibson. The collection contains correspondence between Millard and Gibson, agency business correspondence to and from Millard concerning Gibson's publishing career, assorted photographs, and an agency publicity file that includes publicity materials, files of Gibson's book reviews, interviews with Gibson, and articles about Gibson and/or the cyberspace and cyberpunk phenomenons.

Of particular note are a number of Gibson's original writings, which are also housed in the collection. These writings include such important Gibsoniana as his original 1981 outline for what would become Gibson's first novel Neuromancer; a 1984 outline for a never-completed novel, The Log of the Mustang Sally; an outline for Mona Lisa Overdrive(1986); a chronology and notes for The Difference Engine(1987); and copies of Gibson's screenplays for Alien III(c. 1990, unused) and Johnny Mnemonic(1992, 1994).

The Martha Millard Archive of William Gibson is a important collection for exploring not only the development of Gibson's writing career, but the ways in which an author, his agent, and his publishers interact with one another, working together to create and publicize a final literary product. The collection also provides numerous examples of the cultural impact that Gibson, as the coiner of the term 'cyberspace' and founder of the cyberpunk sub-genre of science fiction, has had on his colleagues, fans, and contemporaries.

This collection consists of 12 pieces of correspondence, almost entirely letters written by legendary science fiction author Clarke to Baird Searles, owner of the well-known Science Fiction Bookshop in New York City, NY. Clarke, who lived in Sri Lanka, frequently ordered books from Searles.

There is also one letter from Clarke to Martin Last, Searles' writing collaborator and domestic partner.

This collection consists of a copy of the proofs for the 1978 novel Elvis, Come Back!, written by Sheila Jazmann and published by Chameleon Books. The novel tells the story of an attempt by scientists to bring Elvis Presley back to life after his death in August 1977.

This collection consists of various card/board games and role-playing game modules and gamebooks (separately cataloged) collected by MSC Nova, the now-defunct Texas A&M University student group devoted to tabletop gaming. Also included are some various objects relating to the organization.

This collection contains manuscripts and manuscript material from noted science fiction author and historical novelist (under the name Jon Williams) Walter Jon Williams. Included are drafts in various stages of evolution for a number of Williams' novels and stories.

The collection contains small amounts of other materials relating to Williams' life and career, including correspondence.

This collection consists primarily of manuscripts, proofs and galleys for a number of works by SF author Gould, including both novels and short stories. It also includes several typescripts for works not written by Gould, including several volumes of the George R.R. Martin-edited _Wild Cards_shared universe novels.

This collection contains materials relating to the printing of John Brunner's 1980 novel The Infinitive of Go. Included is the setting copy of the text as approved by Brunner with edits along with a letter from Ballantine Books.

This collection consists of the manuscript for Harrison's one-act play The Day After the End of the World, written in 1980. The manuscript is 15 leaves typed with handwritten edits.

This collection consists of fanworks produced and gathered by fans of the Klingon culture from the Star Trek franchise. Materials include fanzines, art, club newsletters, and other objects of creative expression.

Klingons represent an active subset of the larger Star Trek fan community, and have been so for several decades. Klingon fans are particularly visible because of their frequent involvement in often-elaborate cosplay (that is, the use of costumes and accessories to represent specific characters, often personae created by the participants themselves).

The Klingons are an aggressive race of humanoid warriors, first seen in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode "Errand of Mercy" (1967). The Klingons started out as major adversaries of the U.S.S. Enterprise crew, Starfleet and the United Federation of Planets. However, as the Star Trek franchise began expanding in 1987 with the debut of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Klingons evolved from enemies into uneasy allies, and numerous episodes of TNG and later Star Trek series were devoted to exploring aspects of Klingon culture. They continue to occupy a major position in the overall Star Trek universe.

Klingon fandom is most notable for its adoption of the Klingon language. Klingon is a real (albeit artificially constructed) language with its own system of grammar, structure and rules of pronunciation. It was originally created by linguist Marc Okrund in the mid-1980s for the Star Trek films and was adopted into later iterations of the television franchise. Klingon has been expanded on by interested fans and language hobbyists to the point where a number of literary works have been translated from English to Klingon. Many Klingon-related fan creations are written at least partially in the Klingon language, and it is not uncommon for dedicated fans to speak it amongst themselves.

This collection consists of two sets of galleys and the setting copy for Wolfe's 1981 anthology Gene Wolfe's Book of Days, as well as the original manuscript for Wolfe's 1985 story "The Boy Who Hooked The Sun" (inscribed by Wolfe in August 1988).

The Book of Days materials are housed in two slipcases.

This collection consists of a number of typed manuscripts from acclaimed science fiction and fantasy author Andre Norton, spanning much of her later career, from 1981-2005. Nearly all the manuscripts are autographed by Norton, and nearly all are also marked by handmade corrections from either Norton, her editor, or her publisher.

In some cases, individual titles contain multiple copies of manuscripts (albeit with individual hand corrections) and it is unclear in which order the copies were produced. The term "original", which has been given to certain manuscripts, is a term used by Norton and does not necessarily mean that it is literally the original typed manuscript.

The collection also contains several pieces of correspondence from Norton, most dated between 1963-2004, with two that are undated. Most are typed letters that bear Norton's signature, but a few are handwritten.

This collection consists of photocopies of the 49 page typed manuscript for the novelette, Shall We Take a Little Walk, published in Destinies, the winter of 1981.
