Original pencil sketch made in 1881 when Percy Ives, then an art student at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, visited Whitman at his home in Camden, New Jersey.
In 1915 Ives presented the drawing to Powys when the novelist traveled to Detroit, Ives' home town, to begin a series of lectures. Powys subsequently gave the drawing to his sister Philippa, probably after she had visitied Whitman's home in Camden in 1923-1924.

The drawing is signed by both Ives and Whitman. Reframed in 2012 displaying all inscriptions.

The Wipprecht Family Papers is a collection of photographs, correspondence, and other items pertaining to the family of Walter Wipprecht (Sr.). The photographic collection spans the Wipprecht personal family ranch life in Bryan Texas to Texas A&M College and Bryan, TX early buildings. The collection includes several local newspapers, commemorative Bryan, TX memorabilia along with photographs of historic Texas A&M College during the early 1900s.

Eldridge Cleaver, a founding member of the Black Panther Party, was also an author, Black power activist, who in his later life became a patriot and Mormon.

The Eldridge Cleaver Archives contains over 1000 individual items of his writings and letters from his prison stints from 1959 to 1966 after he published his seminal work, “Soul on Ice;” BPP writings, his exile in Cuba, Algiers, Paris and other writings; newspapers and other publications. The collection contains rare and unique items from founding members and insider within one of the most notorious and progressive organizations this country has ever witnessed.

There is extensive correspondence from his wife Kathleen that includes correspondence written by and to her, writings to and correspondence from journalists, activists, and from friends.

This collection contains memorabilia from Joe Utay’s career as a football coach during the mid-1900s along with his collection of football programs and stats rosters from his time serving in the Southwest Conference. Joe Utay was a member of the Texas A&M Football team from 1905-1907 as a halfback and was the football coach from 1912-1936. He was involved with the Southwestern Conference, the Cotton Bowl, and the Texas Officials Association.

This collection includes correspondence from Douglas MacArthur (then serving as the Commandant of West Point) discussing a potential football game between West Point and Texas A&M College. This collection also contains two lawsuits appealing for Texas A&M College to admit women to the university in 1933 and 1955. (The lawsuits were given to Joe Utay for legal review.)

The collection contain 32 drawings of mechanical engineering illustrations for a class assignment dated 1910-1911 illustrated by F. H. Schmidt.

Dyal and David Chapman for the publication titled "Cushing Under Cover", part of the commemoration for the re-dedication of Cushing Memorial Library. The collection includes photocopies of the archivists' secondary and tertiary research on Edward Benjamin Cushing, along with primary resources on Cushing including, among other materials, correspondence, maps, World War I (WWI) reports, and distinction certificates.

This scrapbook titled "Souvenirs of College Days" by Boetcher contains newspaper clippings mainly concerning Texas A&M College football and commencement. R. B. Boetcher was a graduate of A&M College, Class of 1900, from East Bernard, TX.

This scrapbook contains photographs and newspaper clippings dating from 1911-1915. Included inside is a copy of The Student Farmer (October 1914), photographs of the Old Main building, and the Mess Hall before and after they burned. A photograph of Old Main from the North showing the old stone walk and of a tree, possibly the Centennial Oak. Also, a photo of Uncle Dan who is marked as being the "oldest resident" on campus, which is noted in an early statement about his longevity.
